Psalm 4
Hear Me When I Call
Hear me when I call, O my God,
O God of righteousness;
Have mercy on me, hear my prayer,
Relieve, when in distress.
How long will you, O sons of men,
God's glory turn to shame?
How long will you love worthlessness,
And falsehood's foolish game?
But know the Lord has set apart
The godly as His own;
The Lord will hear me when I call,
The wicked He'll disown.
Let not your anger turn to sin,
Upon your bed, be still;
Offer a living sacrifice,
And trust God's holy will.
Lord, shine Your light upon us now,
May our heart's joy increase,
More than the season's grain and oil;
And may we dwell in peace.
